Hey, I’m Dena

Bryan and I love being outdoors – hiking, camping, and fishing.

And after running our own travel and photography blogs since 2009, we decided to write about things we enjoy doing in our own backyard. 

We cover winter camping, hiking, campfire skills, and great gear. Over the years, we’ve hiked the Galapagos, explored the Andes Mountains, and camped and explored our province’s backyard.
